The new schedule for this summer’s River to River Festival is finally available (after many annoyed e-mails) and there’s something for everyone: adults, children and adults who act like children. Live music, outdoor movies (The Seven Year Itch is one of them!) and poetry are some of the wonderful activities you can enjoy this summer, downtown of course.
If you know downtown well and really like it in the summer (I do, it’s gorgeous!) then you’ll really love the outdoor music and eclectic activities. If you don’t know downtown well, use your map because you’ll never find ‘The Elevated Acre’ behind 55 Water Street on your laurels alone. But it really is a sight to see, so try to find it!
The web site is clunky and doesn’t flow naturally (the list of events leads you to a pdf attachment of their entire newsletter) but you’re smart. You can figure it out. Also, you can pick up a hard copy of their calender of events at any of their events! River to River is something you really should not miss. You will not see this blend of musical acts set against this scenic backdrop anywhere else.
