This year, help celebrate the Fiftieth Anniversary of one of our most beautiful New York City landmarks: the Frank Lloyd Wright designed Guggenheim Museum. Can you believe it’s been 50 years already? How time flies! Why, I remember when they were drawing up the plans! Oh, the fun times we had. President Eisenhower was down for Nixon and would do anything to keep that damn Kennedy out of Office. That rotten, pinko so and so. Picasso was sculpting, we were scared of the Reds racing us to the moon and the Los Angeles Dodgers were kings. Ok, ok, just kidding, old timer. I wasn’t really there. But aside from the violent racism, it sounds like I missed out, see? You pickin up what I’m putin down, sonny?
If you’d like to relive the good old days, view pictures of the museum plans, architecture, and construction, please visit the Guggenheim Museum and join in the anniversary celebration! Savvy?
